Scholarship applications are due by FRIDAY, MARCH 1st, 2024.
Each year, the Lindsborg Arts Council awards two $1,500 scholarships to Smoky Valley area graduating seniors who show great promise in an artistic field and plan to participate in that artistic endeavor in college. Applicants are required to demonstrate their artistic abilities in front of the selection committee. Recipients are then required to enroll and complete an arts-related course during their first college semester and report back to the Arts council regarding their college experience. USD 400, virtual school, and homeschool graduating seniors are encouraged to apply.
By providing scholarships to young artists, the Lindsborg Arts Council is fulfilling its mission to promote, encourage and increase the knowledge, appreciation and practice of the arts in Lindsborg and the surrounding area.
